"Confidant" addresses the growing pains of a young girl whose body is metamorphosizing; on the one hand she is evidently a physically blossoming beauty, but on the other, her adolescent hormones are raging. Her young mind can't seem to cope well with the onslaught of unrelenting changes. Her refuge and confidant is her mother who has experienced it all before.
